01 / THE PROJECT

Project overview

BridgeCore Billing approached the project without an existing website structure, finalized visual identity, or prepared website content. The requirement was straightforward: build a professional WordPress website that could clearly present the company’s medical billing services and establish a credible online presence.

This meant the project needed to start well before development.

I worked on the website from the initial planning stage — helping establish the visual direction, organizing the website structure, preparing content, defining the brand colors, developing the website experience, and configuring the technical foundation required to launch it. The result was a complete business website built from the ground up rather than a redesign of an existing digital presence.

02 / THE BRIEF

Client requirements

The client wanted a professional WordPress website but did not have a finalized design or complete website content to provide.

The main requirements were:

  • Build the complete website in WordPress
  • Establish an appropriate website structure
  • Develop a professional visual direction
  • Create website content
  • Establish brand colors and visual consistency
  • Prepare and refine the logo
  • Arrange the domain and hosting environment
  • Create responsive page layouts
  • Present medical billing services clearly
  • Configure contact and lead-generation functionality
  • Implement foundational SEO
  • Set up XML sitemap and search-engine essentials
  • Prepare the website for launch

03 / THE APPROACH

My recommendations

Because there was no established website system to follow, I started by defining the foundation of the project.

The first step was understanding the company’s services and determining how they should be presented to potential healthcare clients.

From there, I developed the website structure, content direction, brand styling, and overall visual approach.

Rather than asking the client to prepare every individual website element, I converted their business requirements into a complete website plan and then moved that plan through design, development, optimization, and launch.

04 / THE EXECUTION

What I delivered

Website Strategy & Structure

Planned the website architecture based on the company’s services and target audience. The content hierarchy was structured to help visitors quickly understand what BridgeCore Billing offers, how its services can support healthcare organizations, and how to contact the company.

Content Writing

Created the website copy based on the company’s services and business requirements. Instead of working from finished copy supplied by the client, I developed and structured the content specifically for the website. This included service-related content, homepage messaging, calls to action, supporting sections, and other core website copy. The content was written to remain professional and understandable while communicating the value of the company’s medical billing services.

Brand Direction

Developed a consistent visual direction for the website, including:

Color Palette · Typography · UI Styling · Imagery Direction · Visual Hierarchy

The goal was to create an identity appropriate for the healthcare and medical billing industry — professional, trustworthy, clean, and easy to navigate.

Logo Refinement

Worked on establishing the logo direction as part of the overall brand setup. An initial concept was developed with AI-assisted design tools and then refined and adapted to better align with the selected visual identity and website branding. This provided a practical brand foundation for the new website without overstating the project as a full-scale branding engagement.

UI/UX Design

Created the website’s visual direction and translated the approved branding into page layouts and reusable interface components. Design decisions focused on clarity, professional presentation, readable content, strong calls to action, and a consistent experience across the website.

WordPress Development

Built the finalized website using WordPress and converted the approved design direction into a responsive production website. The development covered page construction, responsive behavior, navigation, content sections, service presentation, forms, and supporting website functionality.

Domain & Hosting Setup

Assisted with the technical setup required to get the website online. This included helping establish the domain and hosting environment, configuring WordPress, and preparing the website infrastructure for development and launch.

Basic SEO

The client required foundational SEO rather than a full ongoing SEO campaign. I implemented the essential technical and on-page setup needed to provide the new website with a proper search-engine foundation.

This included:

  • Basic homepage optimization
  • SEO title and meta description setup
  • Heading structure
  • Search-engine-friendly page structure
  • XML sitemap setup
  • Search engine indexing essentials
  • Image optimization
  • Basic on-page content optimization
  • General technical SEO checks

Lead Generation

The website was structured not only to explain the company’s services but also to encourage potential clients to make contact. Calls to action and contact opportunities were incorporated throughout relevant sections of the website to provide clear next steps for prospective healthcare clients.

Responsive Optimization

The complete website was optimized across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Typography, spacing, navigation, forms, service sections, and calls to action were adjusted to maintain usability and visual consistency across different screen sizes.

Key Challenge

The main challenge was not a specific development issue it was the lack of an established digital foundation. There was no finished website to redesign, no complete content library to migrate, and no finalized visual system to implement. The project therefore required combining several disciplines into one workflow:

Strategy → Content → Branding → Design → WordPress Development → SEO → Launch

Instead of simply executing a supplied brief, I helped turn the client’s initial business requirements into a complete and usable digital presence.

Outcome & results
