01 / THE PROJECT

Project overview

PepLab required a simple and focused website built around its product catalog. The objective was not to create a large or overly complicated digital platform. Instead, the website needed to provide a professional, product-focused experience that visitors could understand and navigate quickly.

The design direction was therefore intentionally minimal, combining modern typography, structured product sections, clean spacing, and carefully controlled visual effects.

02 / THE BRIEF

Client requirements

Client Requirements

The project focused on several straightforward requirements:

  • Build a clean product catalog website
  • Keep the interface minimal
  • Present products prominently
  • Create a modern visual style
  • Maintain simple navigation
  • Avoid unnecessary website complexity
  • Add lightweight visual interactions
  • Ensure responsive behavior
  • Make future product updates manageable

03 / THE APPROACH

My recommendations

The website was developed around a simple principle:

Make the products the focus.

Rather than filling the experience with excessive content or animation, I used a cleaner structure that allows visitors to move naturally through the brand and its product offering. The visual system combined:

Minimal Layouts · Modern Typography · Product Imagery · Clear Hierarchy · Subtle Animation

04 / THE EXECUTION

What I delivered

Catalog-Focused Website

Created the website architecture around straightforward product discovery and presentation. The catalog remains the central part of the experience rather than being hidden behind unnecessary marketing content.

Modern Minimal UI

Designed the interface with a contemporary but restrained visual direction. Typography, spacing, backgrounds, buttons, imagery, and content sections were kept consistent throughout the website.

Product Presentation

Created structured product sections that make individual items easy to identify and explore. Product imagery and supporting information were given enough visual space to remain the primary focus of the interface.

Lightweight Motion

Added subtle frontend effects to provide a more polished experience. Animations such as fade-ins and content reveals were used selectively rather than adding heavy scroll effects or unnecessary interactions.

Responsive Experience

Adapted the complete catalog experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Layouts, typography, imagery, navigation, and product sections were optimized to remain clear across different screen sizes.

Future-Ready Structure

The website was structured so the product catalog could continue expanding without requiring a complete redesign. This provides the client with a simple initial experience while retaining flexibility for future growth.

Key Challenge

The main challenge was achieving a professional and modern appearance without making a relatively simple catalog website unnecessarily complicated.

The final approach focused on the elements that mattered most:

Products · Visual Quality · Navigation · Responsiveness · Simplicity

This kept the customer journey straightforward while still giving the website a polished visual identity.
