PROJECT CASE STUDY
Summit Peptides.
Minimal WordPress & WooCommerce Store for a Secondary Brand. A streamlined WordPress and WooCommerce website created as a separate sister brand, providing the business with an additional digital storefront while maintaining a deliberately simple and minimal customer experience.
01 / THE PROJECT
Project overview
Summit Peptides was created as a secondary digital storefront for an already established business. The company had an existing primary website with a larger online presence and an established product operation. Instead of extending that website further, the client wanted to operate an additional brand with its own domain, identity, and customer-facing website.
The underlying business and product ecosystem had similarities with the main operation, but the new website needed to appear and operate as a separate brand. Most importantly, the client did not want the secondary website to become as large or complex as the primary store. The requirement was to create a simple, minimal, product-focused WordPress website that could support the additional brand and provide another channel for generating online sales.
This project was not simply about creating another website. The client wanted to establish an additional digital presence that could operate independently from the main brand. The strategy provided the business with another customer-facing storefront through which it could:
- Establish a separate brand presence
- Reach additional potential customers
- Present selected products through another storefront
- Support additional sales opportunities
- Test and grow a secondary digital brand
- Keep the new customer experience intentionally simple
The website therefore needed to feel independent while still benefiting from the existing business’s product infrastructure and experience.
02 / THE BRIEF
Client requirements
The client requested:
- A separate WordPress website for the secondary brand
- A clean and minimal visual direction
- WooCommerce functionality
- Product-focused page layouts
- A straightforward homepage
- Essential store pages
- Simple navigation
- Responsive layouts
- An uncomplicated purchasing journey
- Easy ongoing website management
- A structure capable of expanding if the secondary brand grew
The key instruction throughout the project was to keep the website simple
03 / THE APPROACH
My recommendations
Instead of reproducing the size and complexity of the client’s primary website, I approached Summit Peptides as a focused standalone storefront. Only the pages and functionality necessary for the new brand were prioritized. The design was kept intentionally minimal so that visitors could move quickly from understanding the brand to discovering products and taking the next step. This resulted in a simpler customer journey:
Brand → Products → Product Information → Purchase
04 / THE EXECUTION
What I delivered
Standalone WordPress Website
Created a separate WordPress installation for the secondary brand. Although the business had an existing primary operation, the new website was structured as an independent customer-facing presence with its own branding and website experience.
Minimal Website Design
Developed the website around a clean and minimal design system. Unnecessary sections, excessive visual effects, and complicated navigation were avoided. The interface instead prioritized:
Products · Essential Information · Clear Navigation · Calls to Action
WooCommerce Setup
Configured WooCommerce as the e-commerce foundation of the new website. The required products, pricing, descriptions, imagery, and purchasing functionality were structured within the new store.
Product Pages
Created focused product pages that presented the essential information customers needed without adding unnecessary complexity. The product experience remained consistent with the overall minimalist direction of the website.
Essential Website Pages
Created the core pages necessary to operate the new storefront. Rather than filling the website with pages simply to make it appear larger, the architecture remained focused on the pages that directly supported the customer journey and business requirements.
Brand Separation
Although the secondary website was connected to an existing business operation, the customer-facing experience was structured around the new brand. This helped the website function as its own digital storefront rather than simply appearing to be another section of the primary website.
Conversion-Focused Structure
The simplicity of the website was also a conversion decision. With fewer distractions and a smaller information architecture, visitors could focus on the products and primary calls to action. The website was therefore designed around a short and straightforward purchasing journey.
Responsive Development
The complete website was optimized across desktop, tablet, and mobile. Product layouts, navigation, typography, buttons, imagery, and purchasing elements were adapted to maintain the same minimal experience across devices.
Key Challenge
The main challenge was deciding how much of the existing business ecosystem should influence the secondary website.
The client already had a larger, established website, so simply duplicating its structure would have created unnecessary complexity.
At the same time, the new website still needed enough information and functionality to operate as a credible standalone brand.
The solution was to create a deliberately smaller architecture that retained the essential e-commerce functionality while removing anything that did not directly support the new storefront.
This created a balance between:
Brand Independence · Simplicity · E-commerce Functionality · Conversion Focus · Future Scalability

06 / THE OUTCOME
Outcome & results
Summit Peptides launched as a separate, minimal WordPress and WooCommerce storefront supporting the client’s broader e-commerce operation. Rather than competing with the complexity of the established primary website, the new site was intentionally designed around a smaller and more focused customer journey.
The business gained an additional branded sales channel with its own digital presence, while the website remained simple, product-focused, responsive, and easy to expand as the secondary brand grows. The project demonstrates how WordPress and WooCommerce can be used not only to replace existing stores, but also to support a multi-brand e-commerce strategy through independent digital storefronts.
