PROJECT CASE STUDY
Global Peptides.
Complete WooCommerce Design, Development & Third-Party Payment Integration. A full-scale e-commerce project built from the ground up, combining a dark visual identity, product content, custom-designed imagery, WooCommerce functionality, and API-based third-party payment integration into a complete sales-ready online store.
01 / THE PROJECT
Project overview
This project involved building a new e-commerce store from essentially the starting point. Unlike projects where the client already provides finished website content, banners, product presentation, and a complete visual direction, this project required those pieces to be developed alongside the website itself. The client wanted a dark, premium-looking e-commerce experience built around the updated brand identity and prepared for direct product sales.
I handled the overall WordPress and WooCommerce implementation, website structure, product content, frontend presentation, and technical setup while coordinating with a designer for the custom product imagery and promotional assets required for the store. A third-party payment platform also needed to be connected through API integration, making the project more than a standard WooCommerce build.
02 / THE BRIEF
Client requirements
The project began without a complete website system ready for implementation. The updated brand identity provided a starting point, but the complete e-commerce experience still needed to be developed.
That included determining:
- Website structure
- Visual direction
- Product presentation
- Product content
- Homepage structure
- Sales-focused sections
- Banners and imagery
- WooCommerce configuration
- Checkout flow
- Payment integration
- Responsive behavior
This meant taking the project from an early-stage concept through to a functioning online store.
Design Direction
The client specifically wanted a dark-theme website that complemented the updated branding. Rather than applying a dark background to a standard store layout, the interface was developed around that direction from the beginning. Typography, backgrounds, product cards, buttons, imagery, banners, content sections, and calls to action were designed to work together as one consistent visual system.
The objective was to create a strong product-focused experience while keeping the interface clear enough for customers to browse and purchase without unnecessary friction.
04 / THE EXECUTION
What I delivered
Complete WordPress Website
Built the website in WordPress and established the overall frontend structure required for the new store. The project covered the customer-facing experience from the homepage through product discovery and the purchasing journey.
WooCommerce Development
Configured WooCommerce as the core e-commerce system. The store setup included the necessary product structures, pricing, product information, purchasing functionality, cart behavior, and checkout-related configuration required to prepare the website for online sales.
Product Setup
Added and structured the initial product catalog within WooCommerce. Each product required more than simply uploading a title and price. Product information, imagery, descriptions, and supporting content were organized to create a consistent presentation throughout the store.
Website Content
Because complete website copy was not supplied at the beginning of the project, I prepared and structured the required content for the website. This included product-related copy, section content, calls to action, supporting information, and other customer-facing website content required to complete the initial store.
Custom Visual Assets
The project required dedicated visual assets rather than relying entirely on generic imagery. I coordinated with a designer to produce the necessary:
Product Graphics · Website Banners · Background Visuals · Promotional Assets
These assets were then implemented throughout the website and adapted to the dark visual direction. The system was also structured so that promotional imagery and banners could continue to be updated as the store evolved.
Homepage & Sales Sections
Created the primary homepage and sales-focused modules needed to introduce the brand, highlight products, communicate key information, and direct customers toward purchasing. The initial modules were designed as reusable components so the website could continue to evolve as products and promotional campaigns changed.
TGADA Payment Integration
The client required a third-party payment solution rather than relying solely on standard WooCommerce payment options. TGADA was integrated into the website through the required API workflow and connected with the e-commerce purchasing process. This required ensuring that the WordPress/WooCommerce side of the website could communicate correctly with the external payment system while maintaining a usable checkout experience.
API Integration
Configured the technical connection required between the store and the third-party payment service. The integration formed an important part of the overall project because the payment experience needed to operate alongside the WooCommerce product and order workflow.
Responsive Development
The complete store was optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Product layouts, banners, typography, navigation, content sections, buttons, and purchasing elements were adjusted to provide a consistent shopping experience across different screen sizes.
Creative Collaboration
Although I handled the website implementation and overall project direction, dedicated visual assets were produced in collaboration with a designer. I coordinated the website requirements and provided the direction needed for product graphics, banners, backgrounds, and other promotional imagery. Once completed, those assets were integrated into the website and optimized to work within the established dark-theme design system. This collaboration allowed the development and creative sides of the project to remain consistent.
Key Challenge
The main challenge was that this was not a project where all of the required material was ready before development started. The website, product presentation, content, imagery, sales modules, e-commerce functionality, and payment workflow all needed to come together as part of the same project. That required coordinating multiple areas simultaneously:
Brand Direction → Content → Visual Assets → UI → Products → WooCommerce → Payment API → Responsive Development
Another important challenge was the third-party payment workflow. Rather than using only a standard WooCommerce gateway, the required TGADA solution needed to be integrated into the store’s purchasing process through its API.

06 / THE OUTCOME
Outcome & results
The project progressed from an early-stage store concept into a complete, sales-ready WordPress and WooCommerce website. The final solution combined a dark visual identity, structured product catalog, original website content, coordinated custom graphics, responsive e-commerce experience, and API-based third-party payment integration.
More importantly, the website was structured as a foundation that could continue evolving. Product imagery, banners, promotional content, and sales modules could be updated as the business introduced new products and campaigns. The project demonstrates my ability to take responsibility for more than WordPress implementation alone, coordinating content, design assets, e-commerce functionality, API integration, and technical delivery to turn an initial business requirement into a complete online store.
